Today's port of call is St Johns in Antigua. Hooray another trip on a catamaran, this one lunch and rum punch provided. It is one of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean region and the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda.
Antigua's economy is reliant upon tourism, and it promotes the island as a luxury Caribbean escape, which it truly is.
Our means of transport today is one of mystic cruises catamarans. This will take us on a tour around the southern part of the island landing at two beach locations, during the day.
The temperature today is around 29 degrees with the chance of some fleeting liquid sunshine.
“Let the adventure begin"
The crew of the boat are very friendly and entertaining. Taking time to point out many interesting places and features along the way.
Antigua boasts having 365 beaches, enough for a daily change of venue. We had the chance to sample two. White sand, rum punch and the crew of Mystic Cruises catamaran turned this day into one of the highlights of this holiday in the Caribbean.
Just enjoyed some liquid sunshine, but when its 30 degrees who cares, certainly not us
