Costa Rica Here we Come

Stretching along the Caribbean Coast, Limon is considered to be one of the most pristine and lush regions of Costa Rica. Roughly 125 miles of shoreline between Nicaragua and Panama boast picturesque white-sand beaches, lined with coconut trees for an ultimate tropical paradise expierience.

As one of the country's most geographically diverse regions, Limon features everything from mangrove wetlands to towering mountains. Today we will explore Limon and its shoreline.

The city of Puerto Limón is not known as a tourist location. Many visitors to the country consider this to be a good thing, especially if they are trying to expierience what life in Costa Rica is really like.

The one must-see attraction is Parque Vargas, a beautiful park filled with tropical palm trees, where sloths are often found slowly climbing between branches, but unfortunately i did not see any!

As I unfortunatly did not see any Sloths, in the trees as you somtimes can, i will be visiting Veragua Rainforest mountain reserve which National Geographic Traveler called, “The Cream of the Cream of the Rainforests”. Surrounded by 100% rainforest, the private reserve borders the spectacular La Amistad International Park, the largest nature reserve in Central America. So i hope to see a Sloth or two there, if i am lucky.
