The island of St. Maarten occupies a central position midway between Puerto Rico and Guadeloupe at the heart of the Caribbean Sea. The island is split into 2 parts, administered by the french and dutch .
The ship docked early in the morning, alongside the Seven Seas Navigator. We were later joined by A lure of the Seas and Aida-diva.
Spent the morning onboard as we have no excursions booked for this island, so we will probably stroll int St Philipsburg this afternoon.

St Philipsberg surprisingly still retains its old colonial atmosphere and charm given the pressure of high levels of tourism the cruise industry
Next stop Bridgetown Barbados.
